The house
This was our grandparents’ house; when we were children, we used to come out here and play in the summertime. It is an old farmhouse with a typical L-shaped layout. We renovated it in keeping with the traditional architectural canons using only original materials as earthenware, stone, iron, thus retrieving wherever possible the old floors, the antique beams and the original doors and windows.
Our house is certainly not for those who demand luxury and maximum comfort but it’s the ideal place for anyone looking for a simple and cosy accommodation in a rustic, typical, genuine ambience where you can get long forgotten feelings, like being woken in the morning by the smell of coffee or the aroma of freshly-baked bread, or being greeted by the smell of an apple pie baking in the oven for breakfast coming back from an exciting day… this is Cà San Ponzio
Deep love of nature and the outdoors, rediscovery of the natural rhythms of life in relation to the seasons, transmission of our traditional and cultural heritage… this is Cà San Ponzio.
We have 12 bedrooms at your disposal, all of them with full en suite facilities, independent heating system, cooling fan, satellite TV and WIFI Internet connection. Some of them are bigger and embellished with a suggestive mezzanine; they can host 3 to 4 people, thus being particularly suitable for families.

- Wide garden equipped with tables, chairs and deck chairs where you can enjoy your breakfast in the morning or have a snack of local delicacies with wine or simply chill out
- Large outdoor swimming pool (14 X 7 meters) with slightly salty water, well placed among hazel groves and vineyards in a panoramic position with a spectacular view of the Tanaro’s river valley and the Crown of the Alps dominated by the imposing bulk of the Mount Monviso, “The Stone King” (3870 mt)
- Pool area equipped with deck chairs, beach umbrellas and a kiosk bar to enjoy fresh drinks and local wines
- The pool area is reserved for guests of the house and annex our campsite
